LIRG AGM

The Library and Information Research Group (LIRG) held its AGM at 16:30 immediately after the close of formal proceedings at the conference. This took place in the Eliot Room at the conference venue. Thereafter LIRG members joined the rest of the delegates for the sponsored networking drinks reception and prize draw.

LIRG also ran a free half day event on LIS research resources at CILIP, Ridgmount Street, London on the morning of Tuesday 10th July (i.e. the day after the DREaM conference).

The venue

The conference venue was the British Library’s state of the art Conference Centre. Located in central London, the British Library Conference Centre is within easy walking distance of three mainline railway stations – St Pancras (Eurostar terminal), Euston and King’s Cross – and six tube lines, and is thus at the heart of the UK and European transportation network.

#lis_dream5 online

As with all the DREaM project events, the conference had an online presence. There was a Lanyrd for the event. The Twitter hashtag was #lis_dream5. Our Event Amplifier Kirsty Pitkin posted details of how people unable to attend in person could follow the proceedings remotely.

Sponsors

We are pleased to acknowledge the support of the conference sponsors:
